Loraine Phillips is a passionate retired educator who tried to instill in her students a love of learning through books, projects, and travel. Loraine has always had a passion to write, from high school poetry and journals to writing novels and children’s picture books. She has written three novels and eleven picture books.

 

She makes her home in Lake Odessa, Michigan, where her husband of 49 years encourages her creative talents. Together they have a beautiful daughter, wonderful son-in-law, four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Some of her other interests include photography, quilt making, knitting, and crocheting.

 

Loraine has a BA in Psychology and Speech/Theater, MS in Instruction Design for Online Learning, and EdS in Leadership and Administration.
